Styles from the 1960’s and 1990’s have become popular again: midi-skirts, denim jackets, knitted sweaters, boat shoes, dresses, leggings, chinos, and chokers to name a few. The terno is a one-piece long dress with butterfly sleeves, traditionally worn for formal occasions.
Malong
A malong is a traditional tube skirt bearing a variety of geometric or okir designs.
Barong Tagalog
The Barong Tagalog, more commonly known as simply Barong, is an embroidered formal shirt and considered the national dress of the Philippines. It is lightweight and worn untucked over an undershirt.
